Happy 2010!! May it be the best year yet!! 2009 was filled with highs (Jude's birth) and lows (my unemployment).
We allowed Julia to stay up until midnight to see the ball drop for the first time. I was not sure if she was going to make it, but then she had a late afternoon nap, so she was still going strong at midnight. She enjoyed watching the ball drop and seeing the fireworks on TV, although she did not quite understand the meaning. We also explained to her that you have to kiss someone at the New Year so she had to kiss Daddy, Mommy and Jude.
We just had a quite evening at home. I finally caught the cold everyone else here has been passing around for the last month, so I felt pretty lousy.
