Viability

Today is the day "they" say this pregnancy hits viability. Basically, that means, if this baby was to be born today, they would try to save him. The odds of survival still would not be good and he would probably have a whole host of issues if he did, but it is possible at this point.

I also had my 24 week appointment today. Jerrod was able to come since it was at the end of the day. I was so busy focusing on Julia and what she was doing, that I missed all the measurements. Julia got to hear the baby's heartbeat. My midwife was so glad to see Julia too. She was the one that was there through both miscarriages and my pregnancy with Julia. I think the last time she saw Julia was at my postpartum when she was 6 weeks old!
