Using her words

It is just so funny to hear what comes out of Julia's mouth. Here are some of the recent ones...

We walked to the library yesterday. The library is located right next to a Burger King. As we were walking past the Burger King, Julia points to it and says "Walk in there, mommy!". Since we were trying to make storytime, we did not stop. But since it was 12:30pm by the time we left the library and we had not had lunch yet, we stopped at the Burger King on the walk home.

At the library, I picked up a couple books for Julia. As we were walking towards the counter, she said "Pay for them, mommy!".LOL She knows that you have to pay for things (or in this case, check them out) before you leave the store with them.

Last night Julia was upstairs with Jerrod. I was in the living room doing something else. Jerrod started calling for me "Sue, Sue". Not 2 seconds later, Julia hollers down the stairs "Sue, Sue". I told her "you supposed to call me mommy!", to which Jerrod replies "don't be like that". Of course Julia then immediately tells me "don't be like that mommy"! Oh boy!

Then this morning she called me "Sue" again. But then eating breakfast she said "Jerrod at work, Jerrod at work.". I had to chuckle and tell her that yes, Jerrod was at work!
