Julia's funny sayings

Now that Julia is talking constantly (and I do mean constantly), it is so funny to listen to her. She uses complete sentences most of the time too. Their are two things that Julia says that makes me laugh every time.

First is that she must have been a New Yorker in a past life. She is always asking us "What you doin'?". Yes, she says "doin'" instead of "doing". AND it sounds just like someone from New York saying "doin'". The inflection is spot on!

Next is Julia trying to say her name. Apparently "Julia" is pretty hard for her to say. So instead when she says her name it comes out sounding like "Gee-Ah". Which is a little better than what she was saying a couple weeks ago, "Ah-Gee-Ah". So now we have been calling her "gee-ah". I think she earned herself a new nickname. She will eventually get it, but for now, it is really cute.

I am still in amazement at how fast she is picking things up and how her speech is developing by leaps and bounds. We can usually understand her most of the time now.
