Too much egg

Julia takes after me and my family and LOVES ice cream. There is a frozen custard place in town that everyone raves about, but we have never been there. When it opened for the summer a couple weeks ago, we decided to try it out one evening.

Since Jude also really likes ice cream, I got a really small bowl of custard for him too. He loved it and so did Julia. I decided that I don't like custard and want real ice cream.

That night Jude woke up every 30-45 minutes, all night long. He was not hungry and Motrin did not help, so it was not teething, he was just wanting comforted. I could not figure out what was wrong with him. But he seemed better by the next morning, so I did not worry about it.

The next day I was telling Jerrod how I did not like the frozen custard. I wanted ice cream made from milk, not eggs. That is when it hit me. EGGS!! Custard is made from eggs, not cream. Jude has never had eggs before and I fed him basically a bowl of frozen eggs! The eggs must have upset his system and that is what was bothering him all night. DUH!

I don't think he is allergic to eggs or anything. I just think it was too much at once of something new for his digestive system to handle.
